Overview

Cdant has been established for over a year now. It started around September 2002. They offer only one plan - Pro Solution. We were interested in it because their offer is similar to that of Dataneuron and Challengehost, or we could say it is a combination of Dataneuron and Challengehost. While Dataneuron offers 15 free subdomains and 3 domain pointers, and Challengehost is ecommerce ready. Nitro's Pro Solution is an ecommerce ready plan with 3 free subdomains and 3 domain pointers. The monthly price is $2 more expensive than Dataneuron and Challengehost. Since it provides some extra features, $2 is not too much if the features are useful to you (referring to the subdomains, domain pointers & ecommerce capabilities). gost certificate russia

Plan Size and Features

The plan offers 200 MB of disk space and 20 GB of bandwidth. Although it is sufficient for most users, we do think they should offer more disk space. This offering has not been changed since the launch of their business in 2002.

There are many features offered. As you can see in the features chart on your left, the plan offers everything except telnet access.

Customer Support

They replied to all our emails and gave us every detail we needed. They never simply replied to our emails or ignored our emails. We were told that they would be providing tollfree support at the year's end, but it is already 2004. We don't think it will be available soon.

Infrastructure

Cdant is definitely not a reseller, as they have 2 live web servers for web hosting. They use Spectrum Systems servers with dual Pentium processors. Each server has 3 drives controlled by RAID 5 controllers. Two disks are mirrored (storing the same information) and one is for daily backups. The servers are connected to the Internet backbone via multiple DS3's.

Conclusions

Advantages - This plan is rich with features. It is also ecommerce ready. Customer support is also very good.

Disadvantage - A bit more expensive than others when compared to the top Ten hosts.

Advice

If price is a problem for you and you don't need the extra features they provide, then other hosts like 123-web-hosting and Anonymoushost might be better choices.
